ScreenCapturePro

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy explains what the ScreenCapturePro app for macOS (“the app”, version 1.1) does with your information. The app is published by TraLand.com (“we”, “us”). Questions: support@traland.com.

The short version

1. What we collect

Nothing. There is no account or sign-in, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no third-party code in the app. Our App Store privacy answers are Data Not Collected.

2. No network access

The app runs in the macOS App Sandbox and is not granted any network entitlement, so it cannot connect to the internet or to anything else on a network, even if it tried. There is no update check, no remote configuration and no server of ours that it could talk to.

3. What the app records, and where it goes

When you press Record, the app captures the part of the screen you selected, and the audio your Mac is playing, and writes them to a video file. The file is saved to the location you choose in the macOS save dialog, and the app can reveal it in Finder or open it when you ask. Nothing is uploaded or shared.

The app does not record from a microphone or a camera, and does not ask for access to either.

4. Permissions

The only permission the app asks for is macOS Screen Recording (System Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen & System Audio Recording), which macOS requires before any app can capture the screen. You can turn it off there at any time. The app can also read and write files you select in the save dialog, and nothing else on your Mac.

5. Sharing

No data is shared with anyone, because the app collects none.

6. Children

The app contains no advertising, no accounts and no user-generated content sharing, and collects nothing from anyone, of any age.

7. This website

What traland.com itself collects, such as the contact form, is covered by its own policy at traland.com/privacy.

8. Changes

If the app’s data handling ever changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top is updated.
