Karaoke is a local media player. It plays video and audio files stored on your own device or network. It does not host, distribute, or provide any songs, videos, or copyrighted content. The developers of Karaoke are not responsible for the content of any media files you import or play. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to play, copy, or use any media content with this application.
Karaoke can import and display LRC, SRT, and plain-text lyric files. The application does not distribute or host lyric files. Any lyrics you import are files you have sourced independently. The developers make no claim of ownership over third-party lyric content.
Karaoke can generate draft lyrics from audio using either Apple’s on-device speech recognition or, at your choice and with your own API key, OpenAI’s Whisper transcription service. Transcriptions may be inaccurate, incomplete, or mistimed. Generated lyrics are provided for personal convenience only and should not be relied upon for accuracy. The developers accept no liability for errors in generated content, and any use of a third-party transcription service is subject to that provider’s own terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developers of Karaoke shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the application, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
