Draft · 21 August 2026
This is a draft, not finished legal text. It is published so the product’s scope and limits are visible while SafeCoQuery is in development. It has not been reviewed by counsel and will be replaced by a complete licence agreement before release. Section 3 reflects the product’s actual behaviour and is expected to survive that review largely intact.
SafeCoQuery is a macOS application published by TraLand.com. It is closed-source and commercially licensed. Nothing here grants you rights to its source code, or to redistribute, resell, rent, or sublicense the application.
SafeCoQuery has not been released. There is currently no download, no pricing and no purchase, so these terms describe intended use rather than an active licence you hold today.
You are responsible for the databases you connect to and the credentials you supply, including having authority to grant an AI agent access to that data. SafeCoQuery acts with the permissions of the credential you give it. See section 3.
SafeCoQuery’s policy, masking and audit features are real and enforced, but they are bounded. The following limits are deliberate, and you should not rely on the software for anything outside them:
Nothing in our marketing should be read as extending these limits. Where a description of the product elsewhere conflicts with this section, this section governs.
SafeCoQuery can help you control and evidence what an AI agent sees. It does not by itself make any particular use of personal data lawful, and we make no representation that using it satisfies GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or any other regime. Whether your use is compliant is your assessment to make.
When released, the software will be provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. (Counsel to complete.)
To the extent permitted by law, TraLand.com will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, revenue or profits, arising from use of the software. (Counsel to complete, including a liability cap and any jurisdiction-specific carve-outs.)
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
SafeCoQuery includes open-source components under their own licences, several of which require attribution. These are listed at Acknowledgements, which forms part of these terms.
We collect no data from the app. See the Privacy Policy, and in particular its section on disclosure to third-party AI.
These terms will be replaced before release. Material changes will be reflected here and, where relevant, in the app.
